Be Careful what you wish for
So, Mommy has always told us that we could not get another pug becuase it would be too expensive, but if we could find a free pug with all its shots then we could have it. Enter Gorby. Gorby is a half brother of mine whose Mommy thinks that she does not spend nearly enough time with him. My parents don't know what to do!!! They want another puggy, but are not sure if they are ready for one. Anyways, Gorby is coming over this Friday for a week to see how the two of us get along. Worst case scenerio, my parents are taking us both to the pug meetup and hopefully someone will want to take him if things don't work out here.

This is Gorby down by the water.

This is him in the snow.
This is him....I don't know what this is, medical waste or something. His Mommy says that he was already getting "fluffy" so he's already been put on a diet, despite being a month younger than me. Any ideas on what to do????
snarf everyone later,
/s/ Winston, Grand Duke of Pugsworth

Gorby is so CUTE! My mummy struggled with the same question - to get a second puggy or to not get a second puggy. She was even given one for free - but declined after she saw how me(Aine) and the new doggy were together. I favored a new puppy to boss around instead of someone that was older than me. So hopefully Gobey and you will work out.

My mummy thinks she will get another puggy when I am a bit older and trained up better. However, it is a lot of work to have two animals of anything. Also my mummy is a widow - she always wonders god forbid a fire breaks out or something - how can she wrangle two puggies. So with that being said - I think I will be an only puggy for a bit. good luck in your decision - Aine.

That one of him standing by the fence just breaks my heart! Over the top cuteness!!!

Gorby is a cute name too.

As for the chubbs, mine are a little bit "thick" as well. I talked to a dog nutritionist (indeed they have them) and she said that grain-free diets work to help slim down pugs, just FYI.

Also, two pugs are better than one I say. When you are tired or just relaxing and they want to play, they can scoot around with each other and be crazy. It's great to watch!

Note to parents: Two pugs are better. Plus, it's good to get another while Mr. Pugsworth is still young, since after a few years my winston just seems annoyed with other pugs dogs. Then again, he didn't have pug meetups.
To Winston: Good luck with your new brother, Winston! I'll bet your parents end up keeping Gorby!

Winston, this is great! Gorby is adorable and you would have so much fun having someone to play with. I seriously think 2 pugs is easier than one because they entertain each other. Nappy and Maggie play non-stop. It actually helped with Nappy's weight also.

Good luck, I know once you meet Gorby there is no way you won't be able to keep him.

We think Gorby is adorable. Your Mommy & Daddy should definitely step up and adopt him. Two Pugs mean twice the fun. And also, your parents won't have to feel guilty about leaving you home alone, cuz you will have a permanent playmate. We think it would be a win-win for everybody!

Those pictures!!!!!
You two have a problem. After Friday, there will be no turning back. Consider it a done deal. Ha!

Hey Winston, we're not sure if we are going to make it to the meetup this weekend. Dad wants to clean out the basement so he can have a garage sale, but we are still trying to get him to change his mind. He is pretty soft, so we think we will be able to do it!

What a cutiepie. Yes, bring him home, although you must realize that you will have to share your toys, treats, and time with mommy and daddy with him. BUT, like everyone has already said, you'll always have a playmate! I say try it out and see how it goes :)

I don't know, Winston. Gorby looks like he could take you....but, I say you can teach him whose boss. I overheard mommy telling Daddy about why we should get a second pug...it sounds fun!

Gorby is soooo cute. I hope everything works out. The only thing better than one pug is two pugs. Good thing I have enough love for everyone. :)
