Back for Real
Sorry about the many broken promises about starting to post again and stuff, but moving is a really huge pain in the sturgeon and my Parents had no interest in posting after trying unpack/maneuver their way around boxes. Hence the unexpectedly long absence.

Well, we did move. The Stray, unsophisticated as she is, enjoyed every minute of it, starting with the empty apartment and all the new places she could climb into.

And all the boxes she could sit on and eat.

Here I am trying to warn her; "The human who gives out food is not going to like that", I tell her.

"But look how delicious these things look!" She replies.

This is our new yard. We do have to share it with many other dogs, but it is big and is even far enough away from any road that we are allowed to run around leash-less.

This is Mommy's attempt to take a picture of us and the view. As usual, we are being uncooperative, and she could not get far enough away to get all of the view in the shot. This should give you the idea, that is Lake Washington in the background. Cosette and I are very fond of the flowers.

This is Cosette and her new BFF Pumpkin. Pumpkin is about Cosette's age and lives across the hall. Pumpkin's people like to let Pumpkin run around the yard to get out all of her crazy puppy energy, and Cosette joined in on that game very enthusiastically.

This is another pug named Winston (Winston #2). He is a little bit older than me (Winston #1). Here Winston #2 greets Cosette. I don't know why this picture is sideways; Mommy rotated it before she posted it but it came out sideways anyway. Stoopid blogger.

This is Cosette, hmmm, I mean the Stray going nutsos with Winston #2.

I even stooped to their level for a little while and joined in the playing. I am pretty discriminatory when it comes to choosing which dog I play with, but I suppose a pug named Winston #2 is a good candidate. In case you are wondering, there was a sum of 3 Winstons present (get it? Winston #1 plus Winston #2).

This is me trying to get #2 to play.

I am sure you all missed my pretty, smiling face. Well, here it is, and hopefully the humans will not be so lazy as to force you all to go without it for so long in the future.

Apologies
I know that I promised pictures, but unfortunately unpacking is really consuming my parents time and they have not helped me blog recently. I promise that we shall be back to our regular posting schedule next week (for realz this time). Please don't be mad ... all the problems are due to the Stray. But I did have an awesome playdate today with another pug named Winston who lives in the apartment complex :)

I'm BACK!!!
Hello to all my loyal fans. Stoopid Comcase finally installed our Triple package with TV, Internet, and a phone that will never be used (but it is cheaper to get than to get TV and Internet alone). I had planned to do a post tonight but the cable guy left something called a DVR, and my parents are even more enamored with it than with the Stray. I promise that there will be pictures tomorrow, and I appreciate the patience that you have all shown in this most irritating of times.

PS- the Stray wants me to inform all puglets who may be unaware that cardboard boxes are quite tasty.

A Note to My Loyal Readers:
Dearest fans,
My family and I (and unfortunately the Stray) will be engaging in a cross town move this weekend to a bigger apartment. My Mommy says that it will be a major pain in the bass. She always says this with a nasty tone in her voice, which does not make sense since she likes eating fish. Anyways, what it means for my readers is that I will probably not have internet at the new place for a week or so since Mommy keeps forgetting to sign up for cable and internet (Daddy is quite insistent on both). This means no posts for about a week or so (hopefully not more than a week and a half), but it all depends on stoopid comcast. Wish us luck ... my parents say the new place has a long hallway where we can build up substantial speed when we are pug-skuttling.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WINSTON!! [Parents' post]
We find it hard to believe but our little bear is 2 today. We have come a long way with the monster, and he has gone from a 4 pound puggy puppy that was afraid of the world to a 27 pound puggy that is afraid of the world.

This is the dignified Winston that all people have come to know and love.

This was the hamster that we picked out at almost two weeks old. We picked him because he blew snot in our faces and let us hold him on his back like a baby. Incidentally, this was the last time we were ever permitted to hold him on his back ... but he still occaisonally blows snot on our faces.

He was already snuggling with us on the drive home.

Soon after he was crowned Grand Duke of Pugsworth.

He quickly made himself at home, and let us know who the bed really belonged to.

He also quickly got started on his blog, so he could share his worldview with everydog.
We have gone on many adventures in the past two years, way too many to list in one post. The Doggie Diner, Easter egg hunts, the Animal Planet Expo, and many trips to the dog park and pug meetups are among the best.

Playing ball at the dog park has always been one of Winston's favorite outings.
He didn't seem to enjoy the swimming quite as much, but of course we were very pround of him for how well he managed to swim to shore.
He may not always act like it, but he is our little angel.

Happy Birthday to our handsome boy!

Holiday Weekend
This weekend, we were so happy to have our parents home for three days, with nothing to do other than play with us. They also put lots of things in boxes. Something about moosing. I have no idea why humans do such random and crazy things.

This is me and the Stray just chillin' a little over the weekend.

While I was distracted she tried to sneak in what my parents refer to as a "sisterly kiss." She is a little freak.

We played a lot of ball. In case you forgot, this is my favorite pastime.

The Stray's fetching abilities are coming along nicely.

We got delicious Frosty Paws to cool us during the warm periods of the long weekend.

We had to be separated to eat our Frosty Paws because if she has half a chance, Cosette will go for my food, even if what I have is exactly the same as what she has.

I enjoyed mine very much, I pushed it all around the plate and the floor trying to figure out the fastest way to eat it.

Cosette was a little bit more cautious with hers.

We also took lots of naps this weekend. Here Cosette is sleeping on the desk while Mommy plays on the computer.

She is a real brat. I cannot imagine that I ever behaved like this in my younger days.

Cosette also had to spend some time this weekend studying up on her training. She is four months old now, so it's about time she start displaying the discipline expected of a member of the Pugsworth household.

Overall, I am not optimistic about the likelihood that the stray will ever exude the quiet dignity that seeps from my pores.
