Be Careful what you wish for
So, Mommy has always told us that we could not get another pug becuase it would be too expensive, but if we could find a free pug with all its shots then we could have it. Enter Gorby. Gorby is a half brother of mine whose Mommy thinks that she does not spend nearly enough time with him. My parents don't know what to do!!! They want another puggy, but are not sure if they are ready for one. Anyways, Gorby is coming over this Friday for a week to see how the two of us get along. Worst case scenerio, my parents are taking us both to the pug meetup and hopefully someone will want to take him if things don't work out here.

This is Gorby down by the water.

This is him in the snow.
This is him....I don't know what this is, medical waste or something. His Mommy says that he was already getting "fluffy" so he's already been put on a diet, despite being a month younger than me. Any ideas on what to do????

Happy Birthday Aunt Roni!!!
My Auntie is 28 today, so allow me to say happy birthday! She is a closet pug person, unwilling to admit she wants a little guy just like me. I decided to post some cute pictures of me in order to spur her to buy a "good" (snot filled and hairy) birthday present. In other news, I have learned that I have been selected as "Cool Dog Site of the Day" for March 13. I hope I am not bursting any bubbles by making an early announcement, but I was so excited!!!

This is me, being cute as ever in my toybox.

This is me getting distracted and jumping out of my toybox.

ACTION SHOT! I am so good at hurdling out of my toybox I believe that I shall eventually try to qualify for the Olympics as a hurdler, although my Parents think that I should be a high-jumper (more on that later).

Pug Meetup
I went to a pug meetup before I got sick and had lots of good times. It looks like I am out of commission until all symptoms of my cold have been gone for 5-6 days. I did good today, so assuming I don't cough up a lung tonight, next week's pug meetup is still a possibility.

Apparently pugs don't understand that the command "sit" doesn't always mean that a treat is involved.

This is me, being as cute as ever.

This is Wonton. My parents saw a picture of him with similar marking paint on his head so they suspect he may come from the same breeder, but they forgot to ask. We'll check next time, but I don't think he's nearly as cute as me...also, he acts like a lunatic.

This is Buddy. His manhood has not been taken away because he may be studded. As a result, he was humping everything is sight. I miss my manhood.

This is my Daddy hiding behind Otis. What's the big deal? I still think I'm cuter than him.

This is just a random pug that my Daddy took a picture of after he snatched the camera from me without permission. I'm definately cuter than this one.

I am cuter than this one also.

This is Goliath... like I said before, he really hated my Daddy. His peeps said Daddy looks like his vet.

...and this is Goliath running away from my Daddy.

This is Otis vicously attacking me. I think Daddy was encouraging him. Regardless, this little guy has no class.

This is me, Otis, and another pug investigating each other.

That is me in the middle getting triple teamed. I swear, don't any pugs besides me have any manners!

This is just a cool action shot a handful of us puggies. I am feeling much better, as the days go on my parents stop worrying about me and start complaining that I am harrassing them again.

Me and my brother

This is me and my brother having a swell playdate. Don't forget to check the new pictures below as well.

Me and My Little Brother's (Buster) Playdate
Well, it turns out I really am sick, but it's nothing serious, just a little cold. Mommy and Daddy took me to the vet and he prescribed antibiotics and plenty of love and rest for about a week. If nothing else, the diagnosis eased the concerns of my parents who had grown concerned by my cough.
This is me and Buster. Buster is wearing the harness and, thanks to trick photography, looks bigger in this picture.

And we go at it. I had the strength, so I was initially victorious; but he had the stamina and slowly wore me down as the playdate went on.

Here I am doing the "pug-o-saurus" to scare him away.

This is Mommy forcing a break upon the two of us.

In this picture Buster is lining up for an attack run.

...He gets closer...

...and closer...

...and ATTACK!!

Buster, taking a break and showing off his big smile

Here, I am weary of a surprise attack and I am desperately searching for Buster. We both had a blast at the play date, and I was unconscious for two days.

Playing Sick
I spent the whole day playing sick so that Mommy and Daddy would not make me go to the dogpark. But all the rest just built up my energy and once it was dark, and the dog park was no longer feasible, I made a stunning recovery.

Here I am "sick" during the day. I learned how to save snot and blow it all over my parents when they were inspecting me to see how I was feeling.

Oh Daddy...I feel so horrible. I will unfortunately not be able to go to the dog park and get bullied by dogs a tenth my size. And NO, I am not a wimp, Yorkie Terriers are vicious little beasts.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, woe is me. Below is my stunning recovery.

I know I promised my to post from my playdate with my brother Buster, but this is a warning of what happens to pugs who aren't invited...see the fear in their eyes.

An awesome gift!!
Mommy and Daddy went to a nice dinner on Saturday, but I couldn't go because my "seeing eye dog in training" vest has not come yet. Luckily, Daddy brought me home the remains of his 24 oz. Porterhouse!

This is me salivating at the very thought of that wonderful dead animal upon my lips!

I have to inspect it to makes sure that it does not still pose some risk to me.

Here, I cautiously begin to marinate it.

This is me helping Daddy with his homework by bringing him cases. That's the remains of the bone, right on my snugglenest where I left it.

This is me and my brother Buster at our playdate. This picture is just a teaser (that's me on the right being held back by Mommy).

This is Buster. He's still a little guy compared to me but he has a lot of energy. I'll post our playdate next time.

I meet a scary creature
It was calm one morning. I was laying about with Daddy's shoe, which I had surreptiously taken from its hiding place, when something caught my eye... it was a hideous beast!!! I moved to confront this scoundrel and save the household. In my moment of need, Daddy just took this video. Snarf everyone later, The Grand Duke.

A Brief Post
My little brother Buster came over today for a five hour private play date and we completely exhausted each other. Here is the brief run down: I am built for power and he is built for endurance. Therefore, I initially had the better of him but as time went on he slowly wore me down. Regardless, we both had fun and are exhausted which should make both our parents happy. Look for a post of our play date later in the week.

This is me after the play date, regal but I don't think this picture conveys the exhaustion that accompanies exertion which rivals that of a marathon runner.

This picture shows me tired, but I did have a blast.

These are my mommy's new pug slippers. They don't completely look like pugs but I guess I can see some resemblance. I spent the whole night fighting mommy for control of them. Soon they shall be in my toy box with Mommy's old monkey sandals and Daddy's old slippers. I can already taste them on my chops.

PS- I have some hilarious videos that I'll be posting if they comply with "You Tube's" douche-bag size requirement.

Friends Matter
I decided to write this post because my friend Oliver was scheduled to lose his manhood yesterday. I feel for Oliver since I also went through this recently. WHEN WILL THIS MADNESS STOP?!?! In order to show what Oliver's parents are missing out on I have posted some photos of me as a puppy with my good friends.

This was me and my pig toy, one of my first friends.

This is me, my pig toy, and my BFF football weinerdog.

This is the three of us again, but with the addition of me looking really creepy.

This is me, my mommy (hiding), and my yellow ducky squeak toy. Mommy is my friend even though I bully her a lot.
Snarf everyone later and best wishes on a speedy recovery to Oliver,

Happy Late Birthday Daddy
Yesterday was my Daddy's 27th birthday. I arranged to go and buy him some really swell birthday presents!!

This is the really cool water circulator\waterfall I got Daddy so that he always has clean water to drink.

This is me showing him how it works. C'mon Daddy, get down here and have a drink with me.

This is the best birthday present I've ever bought anyone!

See the ball on the left, that's one of my original toys and my favorite ball. It also has a loud rattle in it that Mommy really, really hates. I figured that since I like mine so much that Daddy would like one too, so I got him a big one (because he's fat--I'm still a little mad about the whole neutering thing).

I also got him a monkey that squeaks. Here is a picture of all my new...I mean Daddy's new toys.

Daddy wasn't playing with any of his birthday presents so I tried to show him how it was done.

This is a picture of me and I put it in because otherwise this whole post would have been about Daddy's new toys, and this is my blog.

PS- this is my blog, so I do not appreciate Aunt Roni leaving messages to my Daddy on my blog. Also, if she is in any way suggesting that Daddy authors this blog then I am extremely offended.
