Pictures continued.

Have I mentioned that I like shoes? Not just fighting them, also sleeping on them. They're soft and they smell like my parents. Here I am with Mommy's shoe.

Me and Daddy's sandal.

Me sleeping on the bed. Where's the pillows, where are my BFFs. Someone messed up here!

Ah, This is more like it. Four pillows, 2 blankets, 2 BFFs, and a bed.

Hi Daddy, please come pick me up.

I'm waiting...............

Fine then, I'll just eat the couch.

Yes I am cute.

See, I don't like these bad pictures that make me look porky. I'm really not. Oh, well. Until next time.

Mommy and Daddy Got a Scary New Dog!
I got a brother, his name is Alpha and he is huge!!! He also appears to have nerves of steel. (Parent's note: Alpha is a big pug magnet that Winston is terrified of. It's totally worth the $9.99 it cost. We have already had hours of entertainment!)

I was very nervous initially due to vastly greater size, so I tried to him size up. He seemed quite intimidating.

When your back is against the wall the best defense is a good offense. I launch the pug attack titled "all bark and no bite." He does not even flinch.

So I mini-bull charge. Same result, NOTHING.

I begin to crawl close, the prelude to a surprise attack...but I abort because I have the impression that his eyes are constantly on me.

I seek reassurance from Mommy that everything is ok. Unfortunately, Mommy seems to like Alpha more than me. She is constantly going up to him and petting him and whispering sweet nothings. This makes me mad and I go nuts. (Parent's note: the purpose behind showing affection to an inanimate object is to make Winston mad. It's very amusing.)

We finally make peace. Our agreement is that he'll do whatever he wants and I'll let him (Alpha is very big).

However, Alpha lacks my regal appearance. This picture was taken to commemorate three weeks of my benevolent rule.

Daddy got me this tire from Petco and, after the Alpha incident, everything was scaring me. I approached cautiously.

Then I pull the same stealth maneuver that did not work on Alpha. It seems to go better this time.

It smells edible, and that's all I need to know.

More pictures below.

Pictures continued.

This is me sleeping on Mommy's lap as she plays on the computer. Who is that sexy dog on the computer screen???

All I need to sleep comfortably is human companionship, a soft surface such as a pillow, couch, or bed, and of course one of my BFFs. In this case my yellow ducky suffices, as does the pillow and my mommy.

Hi Daddy! I was hoping he could take a nap with me on the pillow, but he couldn't also fit on Mommy's lap.

I am getting very sleepy.........

The training of my humans is coming along well. They know that, even when I appear to be sleeping, my yellow ducky or another BFF must always be very nearby.

This is what I though of Texas' performance on Saturday. Daddy agreed.

Ironically, the pillow that I am snuggling with here has embroidered on it "I spoon with my Pug Dog." In this case, the pug dog is spooning with the pillow. Is that irony? I really don't know.

It's hard to be me, but I must try to get by as best as possible in a difficult environment. Can you believe that here I was sleeping on just a pillow instead of my normal couch-double pillow- blanket combination. Such a disadvantaged upbringing.
Pictures continued.
Mommy and Daddy dressed me up again, but this time I demanded treats (Thank you Duke and Gidget for suggesting this, I have determined that Duke must be the Duke of Pug wisdom...our very own Socrates).

I was not so angry this time.

I even managed to crack a little smile.

See why I'm not mad? That's a treat sticking out of the corner of my mouth!!

I am one good looking pug. Here, I am destroying the scent of some wimpy wolf look-alike dog that tried to eat Daddy's face the other day.

I stole Daddy's shoe. What can I do? They smell lots like him.

I am, however, an equal opportunity shoe thief. Here, I steal my own shoe.

I am really, really cute.

As I said, I am suffering from a disadvantaged upbringing. If you are counting, I only have immediate access to three pillows and two BFFs while sleeping on the bed. My life sucks.

RESPECT MY AUTHORITAAAA!!! (In Cartman's voice)
Parent's note: as you can see, Winston was miserable in his little policeman's uniform and he refused to post these pictures. Therefore, the first part (anything with a police uniform) is a parental posting we snuck in, the rest is Winston approved.

Poor baby, he was incredibly miserable in the uniform. So miserable in fact that he initially refused to try to take it off and instead relied upon his sad pouty face melting our hearts and leading to us removing the costume. Instead, we took the opportunity of having him still to snap some great pictures.

Soooooooo sad =(

Here he is asking "why are you doing this to me?" Poor pug.

The reason we did this to him is because he is a pug and his lot in life is to wear silly clothes.

Me and Ana actually started to feel bad, luckily we both know how to squelch emotion and guilt (especially me).

Maybe he stayed still believing that his Mommy, who he was sitting on top of, would help. Eventually, he's going to realize that Mommy is complicit in everything.

One more picture and then Winston's posting starts.

Pictures continued.
Here are pictures of my second playdate. Mommy and Daddy wanted me to post these embarrassing pictures, but I put my foot down and refused. A pug can only take so much!
(Parent's note: hehehe). I want to thank my good friend Duke, who is nobility somewhere. I was utterly distraught after my Dukakis like thrashing at the hands of my brother. Duke reminded me that I am nobility and I still have my dignity, as well as the opportunity for a rematch. From this point on my dignity is what matters because my little brother gave me another world class shalacking and I harbor no hope of ever being victorious in the future.

Winston did not approve this picture, but this is what the back of his cute uniform looked like.

This is me in heaven. Daddy says I shouldn't eat shoes, but I don't see what the big deal is. He never uses his running shoes anyways. Oh yeah, Daddy wanted me to say "GO TEXAS, BEAT OHIO STATE!!!" I fully concur with his feelings.

I was so comfortable that I took a nap between my favorite play toys.

My little brother begins tormenting me once again. Like I said, this also did not go well.

Now, he's the one toying with me. I am a joke to my little brother.

Here, the squirt is pinning my head. All that is missing is a toilet he can stick it in before flushing.
I tried to use my superior size to intimidate him, but he knows me too well. He was not afraid.
Pictures continued.
I begin to accept my lot in life. I am a big sissy.

Being pushed around by a squirt. In my defense, he is very strong for his size. (Parent's note: Buster's size is maybe four pounds, Winston is a wimp.)

Pinned again. Mommy is yelling for me to stop messing around fight back.

I attempt to scurry away, but he grabs my leg and I am denied escape.

Those are Daddy's legs. Despite me clearly being at a disadvantage he refuses to intervene.

"HI DADDY, remember me? Your little baby getting his butt kicked in front of you." He was, of course, willing to take pictures of my misery.

Buster thinks I'm so pathetic that he sometimes plays with himself so that he can have some kind of challenge.

Trying to defend Mommy's legs. Guess how it went.

More abuse at the hands of my bully brother.

Buster ignoring me once again.

See how much bigger I am than him? How does he always win??
