Pictures continued.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know, I'm no good at this game.

He looks harmless, but I'm telling you that looks are deceiving. Buster is an apex predator if ever there was one. (Parent's note: we do not have the Animal Channel. Winston has no idea what an apex predator is.)

In my dreams, I normally win my fights. It's ok though. Buster may have the brawn, but I have the brains and looks among our litter.

Sleeping on my Daddy in peace (Buster is nowhere near).

If I stake out under the coffee table I can often get dropped crumbs. However, the wait can be long so I occasionally catch some shut eye during one of my missions.

Yes I am very cute.

This one must completely melt you heart, unless you don't have one.

Here I am laughing at Daddy (I just peed on the pajama top that he so negligently left laying on the bedroom floor). (Parent's note: This is true. He was a very bad boy. Daddy could not figure out for half the night why he kept smelling pee everywhere.)

I am a growing boy. Fear not loyal fans, I shall not despair that my brother is meaner than me. All is well.

My First Playdate
Me and Buster met again, and this time it was for some serious fun. I was going to toy with the little squirt a little before exercising my right as a big brother.

Here, we get ready to go and I give my kid bother a little slap. It's a love slap of course.

We circle each other pensively. (Buster is in the girly red collar.)

Then the play fighting begins. I allow Buster to get the upper hand early because I'm a nice big brother.

Then, everytime I tried to assert myself Buster refused to play along and kept bullying ME! Can you believe the squirt?

I wasn't losing for lack of trying. Everytime I tried to get the upper hand the little squirt was able to pin me again.

Here, I think that I'm finally about to get the upper hand.

Keep going!!! Many more.

Pictures Continued.

Here I am, unable to complete my pin and helpless as Buster moves on to a better position to restart the battle.

Here, I thought we were taking a break and then Buster launches a cowardly surprise attack on my hind-quarters.

I immediately strike back.

But then the little squirt pins me again. What is going on? I'm almost twice his size!

Here I am recovering yet again while the little squirt scurries off in the top right hand corner.

Finally, this makes sense.

Then a he gives a slip move that threatens to leave me in a half-nelson. The move leaves me defenseless.

And then, once again I am in a submissive posture like some stupid closed eyed pup!

This is not the way that I envisioned my battle going at all. I felt extremely embarrassed by my performance. I felt French, I felt like Team USA in the basketball World Championships, or like the Boston Red Sox in any game that matters (with the exception of those two weeks when the whole universe was messed up and they actually won, but I still think that was some weird nightmare). In short, my performance was utterly disgraceful.

Keep going. More pictures.

Pictures Continued.
The disaster continues.
Utter and abject humiliation.

Trying to regain some self respect.

However, Buster gets tired and decides to quit while he's way ahead.

His Daddy congratulates him on his clear victory.

I am left to pout and relive the horrible events again and again in my dreams.

Let's look again at how I've grown. This above is my Daddy holding me at about 5 weeks.

Compare to Daddy holding me now at 8 weeks. I am very cute, even if I am a sissy inside.

This is the requisite picture that allows everyone to see how cute I am, lest they forget.

Buster completely wore me out. I shall now attempt to salvage the last bits of pride that I have left.

Big Announcement...My Brother Lives Next-Door!!!
I have some great news, my little brother Buster was adopted by the nice family across the courtyard! (I'm several hours older than Buster.) See, what happened was a newly wed couple wanted a pug, but there was not time to find a breeder due to the planning requirements of a wedding. But destiny intervened. The day they moved into a new apartment what should they see but a seven week old, absolutely adorable pug puppy playing in the courtyard. I, of course, was that adorable puppy. Long story short, they talked to Mommy and Daddy who thought they seemed so nice that they gave them the breeder's contact info. The next day Buster (also seven weeks at the time) found a wonderful home.

This is Buster. He's just a little squirt compared to me. He's weighs about 3.5 pounds to my closing in on five.

See the vast size differential. That is not trick photography.

He is kinda cute though, I must have rubbed off on him.

He looked nervous, but I was ready to pounce.

Apparently, everyone else could tell I was about to pounce so someone was always holding me back. We didn't play this time, we just got reacquainted. I am looking forward to many fun pug-puppy play dates in the near future!!!

My First Human Visit
Can you believe that people come all the way across the state of Washington to visit me? Well they do! Mommy and Daddy made up some lie about them dropping their son off at Seattle International Airport for a trip to South America, but I saw through it. Everyone thinks little innocent Winston is so dumb (as according to my plan). Aside from some rehashed humiliations, I had a great time.

Here Ray and Lynn are putting my Duke Crown back on me. Ray and Lynn inspired my parents to get me by letting them babysit their pug and bug, Rollo and Parker.

Mommy and Daddy said that I'd have fun because Ray and Lynn are "pug people." Then, they made me wear my stupid frog suit again, so I can only conclude that "pug people" means sadistic people.

They seem to think that the situation is hilarious and they take pictures too. Keep going, there are many more pictures to come.

Pictures continued
Here we go again.

I'm part of the problem, as shown here, because if I weren't so cute in the pictures my parents would probably stop taking them.

Seeking comfort from mommy, who decides to pose me.

This is the fun part, I get to start making out with my guests.

SEE!!!!! I'm not the only one surprised and annoyed by Daddy's penchant for constantly taking pictures.

Here I am engaging in the famous pug attack tactic called "circle the head while kissing." I had the time of my life!

I moved so rapidly that Lynn didn't know where I was and could not stop me.

It was so much fun that I conked out for the night. Here, I slept on Daddy's shoes so that I could enjoy his scent. He's not so bad in very small doses.

I also like Mommy's feet.

Daddy... GO AWAY!

PS- stay tuned, A very special post is coming in the next day or so.
