Why I hate the dog park.
But first, this day in pug history:

January 27, 2007 I was recovering from my Parents' greatest betrayal [Parents' note: he's talking about being neutered]. This is one of my most pitiful feel sorry for me looks.

Now, here is one reason I hate the dog park: other dogs, female and male, just can't get enough of smelling my boy parts. This is a cute and well-dressed little girl puppy, but still, we haven't even gone out to dinner yet! I am a dignified pug and I despise the antics of the less sophisticated breeds.

I also hate the dog park because the big dogs always get the ball before me. Especially in the water, since I am too much of a sissy to go all the way into the water myself.

Sometimes they corner me in impossible positions and my only recourse is to run. This is especially distressing since I really hate physical exertion.

Other dogs also try to take over my rightful place at the summit of Pug Hill, the highly coveted high ground at the dog park.

And of course because my Parents try to make me swim there.

Finally, as you all know, I really prefer the couch over any other place.

Snarf everydog later,
/s/ Winston, Grand Duke of Pugsworth

what is wrong with your parents that they take you to that place when you obviously hate it so much

I can see why you hate it there Winston. My dog park has no water, and I am usually the one doing the sniffing, so I enjoy my time there.

We weren't able to make it to the dogpark this weekend...but are hoping to see you this weekend for the Puggie Valentine Party?

I like the "this day in history" posts!

Oh! Now we completely understand. Your dog park sounds horrible. :) You are crazy Winston but we still love you!

Oliver,
I am planning to attend the Pug Valentines Day party, so tell your parents to bring extra treats for me! :)

Looks like you are justified in your dislike of the dog park . . . it's a stunning revelation that not all dogs are as dignified as us pugs.

Your dog park looks so great! I hate water as well, but at least your park has grass. Our is this fenced acre of land next to the busiest hwy in Colorado with four dead/dieing trees and no grass.
Your so fancy!
