This Day in History and Pug Naps
So I have been having a lot of uneventful weekends lately and I decided to start posting a "this day in history" picture each week to show what I was doing on this day last year. I found shocking similarities when I looked up my post and pictures from January 13 last year. The pictures depicted my dismay over the Seahawks' loss to the Bears in the Playoffs. Not much has changed in a year.
Here (above), I hid my face when the Bears lined up to kick the game winning field goal. I knew nothing good was coming. This weekend I had to stop watching the game much earlier, about 1/2 way through the second quarter. Nothing good was coming after that either (the Seahawks had their hinnies handed to them by the Packers). I also look dejected because my parents had just conspired to have my little guys untimely ripped from my scrotum.
The rest of this weekend I got in some much needed beauty sleep. You don't just wake up looking this cute.

This is my couch. Occaisonally Daddy takes issue with that, but a few harsh words from Mommy and he is back to laying on the ground with his blankey.

I don't think people fully appreciate the pressures a pug must endure.

Whenever Mommy is home I will normally try to sleep on her. Those are her legs that I am resting my head on.
Snarf everydog later,

Sorry about your team, and your scrotum. LOL. That's a funny word.

Wow -- I am in awe of you Winston. You certainly do rule your household . . . I can't believe you have a whole couch to yourself! I have to share with my parents . . .

We have neighbors that were not happy on Saturday, either, as most of Alaska are Seahawks fans. Mommy, however, was quite satisfied about the NY Giants . . .

Hi Winston, My daddy was not very happy about the Seahawks loss either. We had to watch to the bitter end, daddy is always hopeful. We live just south of you in Spanaway! Puggy snuffles to you and your family from Charlie the black puggy puppy and Honey the corgi pom crabby old doggy.
