The rough life of a Pug:
I must apologize for not posting for a while but My Grandparents, Aunt, and Uncle from Texas came to visit and neither Mommy or Daddy could get away from them long enought to supervise a post. Some people say that having family with you is priceless...I have decided that I do not subscribe to that theory.

Here I am trying to sleep, and not only am I sleeping in a cage, but I am forced to share this tiny cage with about 20 of my closest BFFs! [Parent's note: Winston would not have to share the cage with any BFF's if he would just leave us alone so that we could eat dinner in peace. But, as one can see, he is a truly abused pug...Limited only to a crate and corral full of toys.]

Here I am trying to sleep on my snuggle nest, but of course Daddy has to take about a million pictures before I can actually fall asleep. I surrounded my snuggle nest with some BFFs as guards, but they don't do a very good job. I am now 17 weeks old and Mommy and Daddy decided that on Wednesday, when I turn four months old, that they will stop referring to my age in weeks and start referring to it in months. I'm becoming such an old and mature man.

Here I am pretending to be asleep so Daddy will stop taking pictures, but once again my strategy doesn't work. It is rough being this cute!

Here I am trying to get on my snuggle nest when I was little; I am about 6 1/2 weeks here and only weigh 4 pounds, right when I first got to come to my new home. That snuggle nest was like a mountain to me! But now I can drag it all over the house.

Here I am sleeping at 6 1/2 weeks; after struggling to climb onto my snuggle nest, I was tired! Look at how much smaller I was compared to two pictures up!

Back to present day...I also have to attack sticks in my backyard. This stick was about three times my size, but I went straight for it!

I dragged that stick all over the yard...

...running as fast as I could.

I had to entertain my family this week, so out came my halloween costumes again! I have to admit I didn't hate it, because I did get hundreds of treats for my trouble. This is me smiling for the camera, which gets me more treats.

Snarf everyone later, and I promise to be better this week about my posts.

Hi Winston! Lots of great pictures on this post. You sure are getting big.

Also, Maggie says to tell you she is single but she is still playing the field and keeping her options open. She says to tell you that she really likes sparkly rhinestone collars and stuffed toys. AB took some really cute pictures of her this weekend so I'll try and post some soon for you.

Hey Winston, we love the pictures of you attacking that stick. It looks like you sure showed it who the boss is!

Thanks for the tip on the Seattle Pug Meetup. We are signed up and ready to go. We probably won't be able to make any meetups this month, but we are definitely going to the SPR benefit meetup on Dec. 2nd in Issaquah. We hope to see you there!

Oh Winston, you are growing up to quick. Bandit's favorite thing at that age was a stick. Any plain ole stick. He would bring themin the house if I let him.

Love you Winston. We are trying to recuperate from our wonderful visit with you. You are the cutest most adorable baby dog that I have ever met. Love & Kisses.
