Cosette Colbert Report: Weekend Edition
Welcome to this special weekend blogcast of the Cosette Colbert Report. I interrupt your regularly scheduled blog to inform you of a complete travesty of pug justice. For my entire life, my parents have been letting me ride in the front seat of the car. And I have been a very good little car rider, unlike another pug in my household who shall remain nameless, who is so horrible that he is relegated to a cage in the back seat.

Then, for no reason whatsoever, we all got in the car and my parents put me in the back seat, strapped to a seat belt so I couldn't even jump into the front seat if I wanted to. As you can see from my face, it was pretty much the worst moment of my life.

I tried to scoot over and sit as close to Winston as possible, for what little comfort he could give me.

This picture illustrates how much Winston cared about me in my time of need.

But, I eventually forgave him.

As a side note, my Daddy saw these pictures in the subway in New York City.

Apparently some people cannot appreciate the subtle differences in emotions illustrated by the pug's brow.
Here's lookin at you with two eyes,

Oh, the injustice! Winston and Clementine have a large 'car crate' that straps into the backseat that they both get in together - they think it's OK, I guess. Secretly, if their daddy is not in the car with us, then they sit in my lap while I drive. I know!! Schwartzenager (sp??) would have my head, but whatevs, dude.

Also, love those subway pictures. I wonder if you can buy those somewhere.

Oh no Cosette! How could your parents do that to you?! I have to ride in the back of the car too.
Mom never lets me sit in her lap because I get really hyper, then shake my fur everywhere. :(
Love Clover xo

Oh no!! Gus has a seat belt since he likes to dive bomb me when I drive. Indy needs one too but she does sit nice in the front when I drive. But when the hubby is there he makes her sit in the back and she doesn't like that!

I love the posters!!

Cosette, you are like Gandhi for putting up with your parents. What does Winston do so that he has to be transported around like Hannibal Lecter?

Cosette you are so cute I don't know how your parents could bear to be as far away as the front seat from you!! Love the pics!

I always keep mine in the crates because I'm paranoid that they'll poop in the backseat!
