Busy Week
My parents apologize for not allowing us to post last week but it was a busy week. Me and the Stray were prepared to post, but we are required to have adult supervision ever since by bud Duke the Pug got caught looking at naked boston terriers online.
My parents went to a game last week to see history. The Mariners were going for their 100th loss of the season, and with the Angels in town it was supposed to happen. Unfortunately, the mariners bats came alive and they somehow managed to win. They would lose the next night. Final season tally, 61-101.
As you can see, Seattle fans are not fickle and continue to fill the stadium even in rough times.
Later in the week we went to the dog park. This is me conquering pug hill once again.
The fawn dog is me and I think one of the black dogs is the Stray.

Welcome to another edition of the Cosette Colbert Report.
The photographer had the great pleasure of taking pictures of yours truly. My Daddy would like me to tell you all not to worry, the photographer signed over the copyright to these pictures so it is okay for us to put them on the blog. Daddy does not want our loyal readers to think we are copyright infringers or anything.
A few weekends ago, we went to a dog fashion show (I am not kidding). The models weren't that great, which didn't surprise me - they didn't pick me to be a model so I knew something was wrong with the management. Anyway, the best part was that there was a professional photographer there!!

A Slow and Selfish Pug Recovery
So, the Stray got spayed last week, and it was not without minor complications. Namely, a pesky urinary tract infection which made her go pee about every 20 minutes for several days ... nights included. This made for a tired sister and tired parents. I thought this meant that I could play in peace finally, but alas I was deceived.
This is the Stray early in the week. Notice the tiredness in her eyes. Translation: I don't have the energy to even torment Winston, the Great and Noble Grand Duke, even a little (I am paraphrasing).
The same seemingly peaceful attitude.
I took the moment to chill with my little guy (the red thing).
Ah, the times were sweet and peaceful.
But good things do not last. Here, the Stray is saying "is Winston having fun with something? Even in my weakened state I cannot allow for that."

Sorry For the Lack of Posts
There will be no posts for the next day or so for two reasons:
1) My parents got something called a "Wii" and Me, Cosette (the Stray), and the blog are currently being neglected and; 2) Cosi is getting spayed tomorrow and my parents are really nervous. We will update you on her condition when further information is available.
Snarf everydog later,
/s/ Winston, Grand Duke of Pugsworth
Update:
The Stray is fine and will be picked up, against my wishes, tomorrow at lunch. Mommy has taken half a day off to spend with me ... or the Stray, I don't remember which one was concerning them.

Cosette Colbert Report
Greetings my fellow Americans. As you may have noticed, last week's episode of the Cosette Colbert Report was preempted by the Democratic National Convention. There was clearly a glitch in the system, as the Cosette Colbert Repot is still a new undertaking. Mistakes were made, and I will not place blame on anyone specific, although the truth is, it was all Winston's fault. This week, I fine-tuned some things and I did not let the Republican National Convention ruin my Report. We didn't let Winston go, we just fixed the glitch.
For this week's Report, I would like to share with you a wonderful story that my Aunt Lynn told me. There are a lot more words than my posts normally contain, but I promise it is worth reading all of them! Enjoy.
The Story of Adam and Eve's Pets
Adam and Eve said, 'Lord, when we were in the garden, you walked with us every day. Now we do not see you any more. We are lonesome here, and it is difficult for us to remember how much you love us.'
And God said, I will create a companion for you that will be with you and who will be a reflection of my love for you, so that you will love me even when you cannot see me. Regardless of how selfish or childish or unlovable you may be, this new companion will accept you as you are and will love you as I do, in spite of yourselves.' And God created a new animal to be a companion for Adam and Eve. And it was a good animal. And God was pleased.
And the new animal was pleased to be with Adam and Eve and he wagged his tail. And Adam said, 'Lord, I have already named all the animals in the Kingdom and I cannot think of a name for this new animal.' And God said, 'I have created this new animal to be a reflection of my love for you, his name will be a reflection of my own name, and you will call him DOG.' And Dog lived with Adam and Eve and was a companion to them and loved them. And they were comforted. And God was pleased. And Dog was content and wagged his tail.
After a while, it came to pass that an angel came to the Lord and said, 'Lord, Adam and Eve have become filled with pride. They strut and preen like peacocks and they believe they are worthy of adoration. Dog has indeed taught them that they are loved, but perhaps too well.' And God said, I will create for them a companion who will be with them and who will see them as they are. The companion will remind them of their limitations, so they will know that they are not always worthy of adoration.' And God created CAT to be a companion to Adam and Eve.
And Cat would not obey them. And when Adam and Eve gazed into Cat's eyes, they were reminded that they were not the supreme beings. And Adam and Eve learned humility. And they were greatly improved. And God was pleased. And Dog was happy. And Cat didn't give a shit one way or the other.

The Crazy Lady in the Red Dress
The Stray is beginning to be absolutely certifiable. I will let the following pictures speak for themselves. However, I am glad that she is around because ever since she came around my parents have stopped harassing me with dress-up and started harassing her exclusively.
This is the famous red dress, she is already able to manipulate Daddy with her cuteness. I, on the other hand, must earn my love.
