A Shout Out to a "Lesser Dog"
I sometimes think that we pugs forget how lucky we are to be pugs. Almost without exception, from the day we are born we are loved, nourished, and just generally spoiled. There is nothing wrong with this since we work hard to be adorable. There are other dogs, however, who do not have the looks, cuteness, or skills to be pugs; but they deserve to be loved nonetheless. Today I am featuring a lesser dog named Snick. Snick's Daddy is one of my Daddy's pals.

Snick is a Belgian Malmois. Malmois is actually a French-Dutch mixed word that means "hairy beast with big nose and beady little eyes." I feel that when you look at Snick from the right angle, and in the right light, she is still quite cute.

BIG SMILE!!! All dogs big and small seem to have this pose nailed. I think that Snick performed it quite flawlessly here.
LOOK!!!! Me and the big dog have something in common. We both like to chase the frisbee. I wonder if Snick gets tired after one throw and curles up on Mommy's lap also. Go on over and tell Snick hello. We dogs should concentrate on our similarities, not our diffences; I also feel that it is the responsibility of us pugs to look out for the "lesser dogs."
Snarf everydog later,

Hello Winston,

Thanks for the "pug"licity! Even though we haven't met in person, I hope to do so in the near future. Maybe we can catch frisbee together 80 or 90 times. Do you like to swim?

I think he is a pretty dog! Though, I'm afraid he might eat me!
